Hello world! It may not seem like it, but the concept for this site has been kicking around in my head for quite some time. As such, I am more than excited to introduce Stacking Sense!
We all face adversity. Over the past several years I have noticed trends in the adversity that many people (myself included) experience; money problems, substance abuse, bad relationships, issues with perception, the list goes on.
I am far from solving all of the problems I face, but I have been able to make strides in living a better life. My hope is that I can improve the life of just one person by sharing the stories, techniques, and lessons, of people who have been able to make positive changes in their lives. Everything beyond that first person will be an added bonus.
The above may sound quite maudlin, but it is the honest truth. Most of us have witnessed friends struggle through financial hardship. Some of us have endured abusive relationships. Too many of us have had to comfort those suffering from addiction. The struggles we face may never go away, but we can help each other ease the suffering.
While many of us often focus on improving single parts of our lives, we develop synergies by expanding our areas of knowledge and practice. Historical luminaries such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, and Marie Curie led accomplished lives because they explored diverse parts of life and saw how they built upon one another. While we may never become as accomplished as the aforementioned people, we can learn from their practices. We can stack competencies (financial, moral, etc.) upon one another to become better human beings.
The purpose of Stacking Sense is singular; to help people live happier, healthier, more successful lives.
Things might be a little rough around the edges, but I hope you see real value in what we’re hoping to accomplish. Please, follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, and if you like what we’re doing, share it with the people you love.
